SWAY CLARKE is something of a musical circumnavigator. Raised on soul and reggae, he soon discovered hip-hop as his true artistic home. But the singer, composer, and songwriter from Toronto, with Cuban and Jamaican roots, felt it was time to move on — toward genres “where songwriting, skill, and storytelling are truly valued.” This led him to experiment with rock and Brit-pop. Today, his music and introspective stories reflect the different stages of his journey and take audiences on a deeply personal musical voyage.
