M.Bassy Sessions #4 with Noah Slee

»M.Bassy Sessions #4« with Noah Slee

In the fourth edition of the "M.Bassy Sessions" we have Noah Slee and Shishani as guests at M.Bassy. Together with Luke O'Malley, Maik Schott and Richard Ojijo, Noah Slee performs "Rise" - from his recently released album "It Takes A Village".

Noah Slee

Berlin-based New Zealand artist Noah Slee combines traditional soul influences while experimenting with electronic productions. In doing so, he mixes a range of genres from future beats to contemporary soul, progressive RnB and indie electronica. Slee has many facets: he is a musician, artist, producer, director, Pacific Islander and LGBTQ member. Slee's second album, "It Takes A Village "explores the importance of community, a theme that runs throughout Noah's life.

The music series is set up in the further course as jam, talk & cooking sessions continuing intimate and creative encounters in times of pandemic limitations effecting especially artists and performers. Musicians from Hamburg, from the African continent and diaspora are offered a platform to come together with other fellow artists, express their identities and beliefs and play music in person, but also to perform digitally to an audience. The artistic exchange will be deepened through a joining talk and collective cooking session. So please, watch out & and stay connected!

Our big thanks go to all artists and the Ministry of Culture and Media Hamburg. Funded by Neustart Kultur, an initiative of the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
