BINTA

BINTA is a Gambian-German singer, vocal coach, performer and songwriter based in Hamburg, Germany. As an artist she brings her unique energy and authenticity to every stage.
With over 25 years of experience singing in choirs around the world — from Brazil to South Africa and across Europe — BINTA has built a rich and diverse musical career. Her deep interest in the interaction between music and community is reflected in her Master's thesis about togetherness in choirs. BINTA brings her international experience and heartfelt energy to all her workshops. Her sessions combine vocal technique, emotional expression and musical storytelling. Participants are guided to explore their voices with confidence and curiosity — learning how to use breath, resonance and phrasing while also connecting to the soul and message of each song.

As a musical director of the Hamburg-based empowerment choir Born2Sing, BINTA leads with both heart and musical sensitivity, teaching talented vocalists of all backgrounds. Her professional journey includes writing and releasing her own music, becoming a band member of Jan Delay & Disko No. 1, performing on some of Europe’s biggest stages, including the iconic Rock am Ring Festival and touring across Europe with the Golden Voices of Gospel. Driven by curiosity and a love for music and singing, BINTA continues to grow her own artistry while helping others find their voice and sound.
